How To Authenticate & Claim

Once a Mylathecos digital artwork (NFT) listing has been purchased, a message is sent to mylathecos.io and the redemption process for the companion Mylathecos branded fantasy- based medallion commences.

 As part of the fulfillment process, the medallion is securely inserted into a custom -made fold out  album for prompt shipment to the customer's ship to destination. 

Also included in the album are a SmartSeal Smart NFC tag that authenticates the Myleathecos branded fantasy medallion and a credit card sized Smart Seal Custodial Wallet that allows the customer to claim ownership of the fantasy based digital artware image.

After unpacking and unfolding the  album, the customer than scans the attached NFC tag with her/his mobile phone.  A  pop-up screen appears on the mobile phone's browser ( no application required) that provides instant access for the authenticity of the physical medallion. 

Next, the customer scans the QR code of the custodial wallet located within the album, and user friendly step-by-step instructions describe how to claim ownership of the Mylathecos fantasy based digital artware image into the buyers mobile wallet.

SmartSeal servers reference metadata that is publicly available on OpenSea and track changes in ownership using publicly available metadata from Polygonscan, the blockchain explorer. SmartSeal technology uses the unique ID of the NFC tag and the token ID of the digital artwork NFT to establish a cryptographically-secure one-to-one link between the coin and the digital artwork.

Together, this Phygital coupling is not only state of the art but ensures absolute proof of ownership to those engaged in the rare collectables marketplace.
